Dear Blog,
I have let most all of 2011 go with nary a word on your space. I have missed writing and even more, have missed looking back at what my family has done. It was a busy year for us. We visited Seattle, Oregon, California,Nevada, South Dakota, Wyoming and Montana. We have chickens! Siobhan turned 16 ! There were four more babies born in our family! I got a job! So many things.
I have written this a few times now and each time I begin to revisit the year and catch up on all the going on. It just doesn't work. It's the past and I missed chronicling it. With all of the good there was also a few things that I would rather not relive. A lot of new situations and feelings that I am stilll working out. I started this year feeling conflicted and not great about aspects of my life. This blog was a good spot to go and show me how good I have it and how happy our family is, something I have never questioned. It reminded me who I am and who I want to be. Also, I miss having a forum for pictures of food I have made. So, on with the new and back to my blog. I need it. This month is a biggie. Olive just turned 7 and Hans will soon be 9. Siobhan begins her first real job and Oscar will continue to incessantly beat box. Most exciting though is that my mom is turning 60 this week and we will all be with her. It will be fun and a great time to be back here with pictures!<>
