Field Trip

Yesterday was Siobhan's 6th grade class field trip to the zoo and I volunteered to be a chaperon. After the background check I was good to go except being new to the area and not having any friends to watch them, I had to take Hans and Olive with me. Luckily, I knew all of Siobhan's friends that were in our group and they were really helpful with the little kids. Olive wanted her picture with Siobhan alone. She had so much fun with all the girls around her.
My brother in law George had to work and so did Luisa so I took Saul and Malachi with us as well. As soon as Saul laid down in the parking lot walking into the zoo I knew that it might be a long day. I thought we'd start out by eating lunch and getting ready to walk around. This was how Saul felt about the whole thing.
This is about a minute later.
And a minute after that. So concluded Sauls first trip to the zoo. When he wasn't asleep, he was throwing up. On Malachi, me, Siobhans friend. Then Malachi started and it was a complete and total barf-o-rama. Somehow, it was funnier on Stand By Me.
