Airplane

Today Pete, Siobhan,Oscar, Hans and John went to The Museum of Flight. About a half hour before it was due to open Grandpa started rounding everybody up to leave. They were ready but I had just finished making pancakes. Hans wanted to make sure I'd save one but I bought him a few minutes to eat it before he left. Olive, Grandma and I stayed home. Olive isn't feeling too well and Grandma wasn't really interested. Actually, she advised Grandpa that on a list of 10 it wouldn't even show up at the bottom of things she would enjoy.
They seemed to have had a great time. John said he could have stayed for the rest of the day. Luckily, tomorrow is Olives birthday or else I think I know what they would have been doing the rest of the weekend. We did get a year membership. With as many kids as we have, it usually is cheaper or not much more to just buy the annual pass. I actually am really interested in going. I will only sit in an airplane though if I get to wear the monkey hat.
This is a glimpse at the inside of Boeing's first passenger plane. I think I would actually prefer these seats to what they have now. The kids also were able to explore first jet powered Air Force One and the Concorde. Which really just made me think of The Conchords. But anyway, they had a great time and we are really enjoying our visit.

This made me smile! I think John has a record for visiting every Air and Space Museum in the nation (we can count at least four that we've been to with him) and Sharron, for not stepping a foot into any of them! Glad you're having so much fun!
